CADSAC offers comprehensive BSAC training from complete beginner to advanced diver. Whether you’re taking your first breath underwater or progressing to become a dive leader, our experienced instructors will guide you through every qualification level. All training is included in your club membership – you only have to pay for BSAC course material.

Course Qualifications

Ocean Diver

A diver who is competent in the use of diving equipment and has gained open water diving experience. At this grade you can enjoy real diving accompanied by a Dive Leader or more qualified diver.

Entry Requirements

  • No previous experience required

Sports Diver

A fully qualified diver considered competent to dive with someone of a similar grade or above. This qualification allows you to plan and execute dives independently with a buddy.

Dive Leader

A fully qualified diver who has undertaken additional training and gained extensive experience. You’ll be considered competent in leading dives and managing dive groups.

Advanced Diver

A highly experienced diver who has completed a wide range of Skill Development Courses and built extensive practical experience. You’ll be competent in organizing and leading branch diving activities.

Skill Development Courses

Already Qualified? Welcome!

We welcome divers from all training agencies including PADI, NAUI, SSI, and others. Crossover training is available to transition your existing qualifications to BSAC standards. For example, if you completed a PADI Open Water course on holiday and wish to continue diving in the UK, you can crossover to BSAC Ocean Diver and progress to Sports Diver and beyond.

Snorkeling Course

Perfect for beginners or those who prefer to stay on the surface. This course introduces safe snorkeling techniques in a pool or sheltered water. It includes theory sessions to help you understand the basics and build your confidence.
